I cannot believe Michigan lost, but then again I can. Guard Aaron Harrison hit four crazy three-pointers in the final eight minutes; including the game-winner with under three seconds remaining to push Kentucky to a thrilling 75-72 win in the last Elite Eight game of the weekend. In the beginning it seemed as if Michigan had it all under control. But Kentucky managed to tie the game just before the half and it was over! So now we have the Florida Gators taking on the Connecticut Huskies, and the Wisconsin Badgers losing to the Kentucky Wildcats. These games will take place on this Saturday, April 5th.
While we’re on the topic of NCAA basketball, did you all know that University of Kansas freshman guard Andrew Wiggins has just declared that he will be entering the NBA 2014 Draft! Wiggins is a projected lottery pick and could be the top overall choice. Fellow Kansas freshman Wayne Selden Jr. has already announced he will return to school. Freshman center Joel Embiid, who also has a chance to be the top overall pick, has yet to announce his plans. I hope they at least one of them goes to the Philadelphia 76ers who are on a twenty-six game loosing streak. Just terrible.
-Imagine the game, Chelle.
